About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get expierienced. Meet interesting people

ABOUT ME

I really like to get in contact with new people and getting new experiences. I consider myself an open-mined person, very suitable for interesting conversations and willing to share my time with my (old and soon-to-be) friends. I'm rather quiet, but I can enjoy a good party and going out sometimes. I consider myself a polite person. Oh, and I try to be funny. Most of the time.
Just feel free to ask my friends listed here for a further image, because I find it rather hard to describe myself here. Or look for my profile on facebook.

PHILOSOPHY

As a wise man (selling icecream at the beach) in Crna Gora told me some weeks ago, the five most important things in life are:
1. life (obvious, isn't it)
2. information
3. hope
4. faith
5. love

I think he was more or less right. The second one was a surprise for me, but in the end it's a crucial thing. What would life be without information?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still a beginner in CS, just joined the network some days ago. That's the reason why I don't have many friends listet here right now. I hope to improve that in the near future. While I'm at home, I would be happy to guide everyone to bamberg, the town i live in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nope, no experience with cs yet. Still, I'm experienced to travelling and meeting interesting people anyways. since that seems to be the essential spirit of CS, I would say I'm somewhat experienced but in an informal way.

Interests

I really like conversations, music, travelling, nature, culture and cooking.
Sometimes i'm interested in coffee, too.

Books(Authors): Tolkien/Silmarillion, JRR Martin, Douglas Adams, Frank Herbert, Javier Marias, HP Lovecraft
Movies: Kontroll, Amores perros, Babel, Little miss sunshine...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I crossed the big bridge in Porto/Portugal, and for myself having a bit of vertigo at these heights, that could be considered amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I'm working as a university teacher in geograpy, so if anyone is interested in that... I think I'm able to explain what I'm doing and researching; maybe it's even fun (just kidding, it's really thrilling...)

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Austria, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Spain
