ABOUT ME

I grew up in Massachusetts, and I'm back here now. I graduated from Swarthmore College in May 2010, having studied Latin and Theater, and unfortunately found that such majors don't lead very well into the career world. So back home it was!

I've been working as a temp for a while, currently trying to get permanent work in the Boston area. Looking in lots of fields, including consulting, tech startups, and writing/editorial, among others. Also hoping to move into the city soon--I like the suburbs well enough, but there's not a lot of life and people. Plus, the hour commute into Cambridge for work is killer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed before, and hope to again when I next travel (whenever that is). I'm not able to host right now, but would love to meet up with other couchsurfers for coffee or beer or whatever

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent a two-week trip to Ireland couchsurfing, and it was great. I met a bunch of other surfers in Dublin, and ended up hitchhiking across the country with two of them. Definitely one of my coolest memories.
