About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life while becoming famous.

ABOUT ME

My priorities begin with state of mind. I feel like if i'm not enjoying myself something is going wrong. I'm pretty energetic generally, but I don't have to be in super turbo mode all the time. I can enjoy simply sitting on a beach or relaxing with friends.

I think it's possible to be mature without being serious. If you meet me, you'll probably get the first impression that i'm a big child. Great! I have no issue expressing how I feel and usually I feel like enjoying myself. This does not mean that I'm not a full functioning adult though. I just think the world can be too serious sometimes.

I don't follow stupid rules but I respect other people.

My greatest passion at the moment is making music. When I'm doing that, I feel like there is literally nothing that I could rather be spending my time doing. I enjoy it immensely and it's also productive. That's why right now I seek to make a career out of it.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm going to die, and I don't want to have any regrets, so I live for the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For a few years in college, I lived with a friend in Dublin. He had a few spare rooms so we would party like there was no tomorrow with different couch surfers every weekend. It was awesome. This is where I met roughly half the couchsurfers that's i've met. Most of the others, I met on a road trip a few years ago. Me and the same friend drove a convertible BMW across America for two months and couch surfed almost every night. Although it's been a while since i've been involved in the community since then, I honestly feel like it's one of the most liberating phenomenon of recent times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a road trip last summer across the USA and Canada, and couch surfing made that possible! Every place we wanted to stay, we would get online in the afternoon, and by the evening, be partying with our new couch surfing friends! I have found every experience unique and awesome, and I really don't think there's a better way to travel.

Interests

My interests include, but are not limited to: Electronic Music Production, DJing, Cooking, living healthily (Physically, spiritually and emotionally) Computer aided design, Electrical hand driers, mechanical street cleaners and most of all, People.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies include Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, John Carpenter's The Thing, Interstellar, The Prestiege, Taken, Dracula (1991), Crash (2004) (and Crash, (1996) now that I think of it), The Shawshank Redemption, The Pianist, 12 Angry Men, Fight Club, Léon, Wall-E, Pulp Fiction, the Big Sleep, Donnie Darko, Snatch, Scarface, Alien (NOT resurrection- what a pile of shite)

Of course, since I first wrote this list, Interstellar came along. What a game changer.

In terms of shows, I think Breaking Bad is a masterpiece, naturally. I've watched game of thrones, Vikings etc. But honestly, I'm not big on TV.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've made maple syrup in a real french-canadian sugar shack, high in the mountains of Quebec- three hours drive from phone coverage. I've felt true love. Also, I watched my friend crash and burn with Americas Last Top Model, without knowing who she was. There's more too... ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to love, produce electronic music, DJ, do essentially any sort of design related thing on a computer, appreciate electrical hand driers, do backward somersaults, do wall flips, speak broken Irish, and fall out of a car without hurting yourself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook pretty well and I have good manners. I bring a general feeling of excitement around with me.
