About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a recent business graduate from Brock University and I'm in a state of flux between the student life and the real world. This suits me fine as I'm content to fill this "conventional void" with travel and adventure, for the time being. I caught the travel bug about eight years ago and I haven't looked back since. By and large I want to go everywhere and experience everything.
I'm pretty easy-going and I love to laugh. Some might say that I prove the term "rational irrationality" is not an oxymoron...I call it having fun. Carpe diem, but always with the big picture in mind; it is possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, I just joined up so I have no experience as far as this website goes. However, I have traveled through Europe and North America while staying with friends I've made throughout previous travels. In that sense I've unofficially (not via this website) couch surfed in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Florida, Maryland, Kentucky, Texas and Québec. I've also reciprocated on three or four seperate occasions.
While I don't personally have my own place of residence at this very moment, I would still be thrilled to show people around Ottawa. And when the opportunity presents itself (which is possible even though I'm living back with the parents after nearly five years away at school) I would love to host others, as well!

Interests
Travel, of course. Experiencing new things. Laughing. Reflecting and thinking. Beer. Coffee. Reading. Poker. Meeting interesting people. Working with kids. Talking. Listening. Sports in general. Balance.
I'm also an amateur photographer. I have little technical knowledge and no formal training, but it's a great pass time. I've had photos printed in journals, in magazines, and online. I'm by no means a phenom (not nearly!) but I have fun with it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have certain stories I enjoy telling, like getting hit by a van while riding a scooter in Cambodia. However, to this point in my life I can't say there has been one particular moment that is most amazing or defining- I'm very fortunate to have done a handful of truly unique things, but there's not one that really supersedes the others. It's more about the whole.
