About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning with people about ourselves.

ABOUT ME

I think I'm a typical easygoing person. In some situations I can be very shy, but normally I don't have troubles to talk to anyone. I love jokes and laughing, I'm usually in a good mood. But I wouldn't say I'm so stupid as this description makes me look like! I'm very curious about our world, universe, and mankind. That makes me think all kind of sciences and philosophy interesting, although I'm not actually a geek. I don't have that admirable discipline and dedication. Maybe I don't have such a strong curiosity. I think wonderful to explore places, mountains, rivers, ancient buildings... However I haven't done it lately. I like to practice sports as well. What more? As a normal person I love music. It can be from all over the world, and I can't deny I feel something special for Brazilian music. And I love cinema, for sure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a CS member since 2009, but only in 2012 I really enjoyed being a couchsurfer... I was in some couchsurfing meetings and I was hosted as well. And now I started to have my first guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't believe that in any place CS meetings are great, but those I've experienced in Berlin were the best I've ever tried!

Interests

Well, I haven't had such an exciting life for some years. I've dared to write a Phd thesis in Sociology just after my Master Degree, so I haven't had a normal life since then. Mostly of my time I'm in front of computer (trying to) writing, or reading something. When one starts a undergraduation course, it's unlikely to imagine academic life is so bureaucratic. Nevertheless, I've learned Nietzsche's lesson, so: amor fati. I don't understand why, but I can find pleasure in life! And a lot of it! Maybe I've learned even better Spongebob's lesson: FUN!
