Completing some major personal projects (such as graduating and finding a stimulating work position) whilst balancing my social, financial and creative needs : )

ABOUT ME

I live with my partner K, and we host together or separately depending on our respective schedules.

For many years I've worked as a disability supporter, but am as of present working on finishing a psychologist degree. Long overdue, it seems my graduation thesis and final internship are finally to be completed.

Besides that, owing to my earlier entertained interest in musicology, playing the piano + some guitar and enjoying singing , I do appreciate the occational musical caprice :D
Another creative flare of mine has birthed a wee business designing & crafting jewellery
Also to be noted: I'll never pass up a given opportunity to measure muscle in volleyball/beach volley, football or the scandinavian pastime floorball...a bit like field hockey, only played indoors. And in not quite as brutal manners ;)

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to offer the temporary haven of my home as others have generously done to me in my past travels. Some of which are yet dear friends of mine, who I can't imagine having risked never meeting had they not been so wonderfully trusting, open-minded and compassionate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a bit last summer and every now and then since. I've surfed 3 times with Angus in Glasgow and once with Marieke in Amsterdam. My CS experiences so far have at best been great and at worst challenged me into developing better personal and social skills - it's been a lovely seasoning of life!
