ABOUT ME

We are a couple of close friends who decided to quit our jobs and leave our "real lives" to spend some time exploring Alaska. We both love to see new sights and meet new people. We also love the wonders that mother nature has to offer. Our friendship developed out of our love for good conversation and debate over a cold beer and has grown from there. We lived in a teepee in Skagway, Alaska over the Summer...enjoying siplicity and minimal stress after trying out other paths :) We are now settling into our new home in Bend, OR...adjusting to sleeping/cooking/living indoors again.

PHILOSOPHY

To live mindfully and without regret...to have good stories to tell at the end of the day...to minimize negative impact on others and the world...to enjoy life as much as possible!

Just getting started...we have several friends that have had amazing experiences through CS and decided it was time to get on board.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are both travel addicts and adventurers. Have lived all over the states and explored much of the world. This would not have been possible without amazing friends and family who have shared couches/beds/tents/floors with us. We are always happy to return the favor.

Cota's brain is full of random knowledge. He's also pretty handy with a hammer and nails! Maura loves practicing and teaching yoga. She also speaks Spanish. We both LOVE to cook...mostly because we love to eat good food!
