I am embarking on what I see as an important journey, a discovery giving me personal growth and scholarly knowledge.

ABOUT ME

I am interested in the experience we call life, and need to soak it in.

I treat the world as my gym and bring my running shoes everywhere I go, if there is an opportunity to combine play with activities I am all for it - lets go have some fun!

I am very laid back and into whatever is clever. I am a very compact traveler and easily get along with others. I have traveled for over two years with a very reasonable sized backpack, smaller then most, anything that does not fit in the bag does not go with me, I like it that way.

If time permits and my host is available I am interested in being taken out and meet new people, the local pub or any event really; I love parks, and being outdoors, new things to try; food and other.

I love to communicate and have a big heart, everyone is important, deserves attention and a big smile.

I will continue to travel my whole life and currently spend most of my time in France and around Europe.

Several years ago I needed a lifestyle change, I needed a better outlet to share experiences and became a bit restless. Taking just my backpack and about a month notice I left my life behind me with a one way ticket to Europe. The things that have moved me sense are priceless, and I am stoked to help anyone who has an interest in travel, culture and to know what an unfiltered life of travel is all about.

PHILOSOPHY

If you do good to others and you are generous through and though, live as holistically as possible and within reason, the universe will take care of you.

I try to live a life of transparency and candor, and give more then I take. My direction is to help others find their own path.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am inspired by my friends that are CS hosts, just about every time I am visiting them I am sharing a floor with new people that have come through CS. They all are been very nice and fun and we have a lot of common interests.

After I experience CS in my travels I will be a regular host but I have not stopped traveling really sense I signed up :) I'm addicted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience has never been bad, I have now been a part of CS to really understand how it works and love it even more then before. Be picky and only choose top rated CS ers and if someone has just started with CS give their couch a try, we were all there at one point!

Trust is the mainstay of CS and is ever so important.

I read a lot.

Music is all over the board for me I love music that makes me move and that is about it. A lot of different styles can tweak my ear. I do not like some music but if it makes me rock out and has good energy then I can dig it. I love to go to clubs and live shows.

I have traveled all over the United States by car, bike, plane. Backpacked in the Bob Marshal wilderness reserve. Done some amazing glacier travel and summited some beautiful mountains. Traveled through Europe pretty extensively and have many many stories to tell - most of them funny and definitely entertaining.

I have lived on a 100% organic and self sustaining farm, collecting rainwater and recycling this water for use in the gardens totally holistic. This experience teaches a zen lifestyle, no chore is too heavy and every chore extremely important. It has calmed my mind, living there for months and through winter teaches you a lot about ecosystems, survival of all things and possibly most important yourself.

Any entrepreneurial skills -- general business and technology. Travel information especially Europe and the schengen region.

Fitness and nutrition are important to me.

I have glacier travel and rock climbing experience.

I have a fine art degree and love to talk about and make art.

I'm a natural teacher and can teach basics to most things, paragliding, yoga, running; all sorts of things.

I can share a good time with anyone!

I would like to learn French better.

And learn from other CS people and their experiences.
