I want to live life with my eyes open.
I am someone who enjoys both the quiet nights in and a nights on the town with friends.
I love watching American football in the fall.
I am have a healthy competitive streak.
I love being active.
I want to push myself outside my comfort zone.

PHILOSOPHY

Anais Nin says, "We do not see the world as it is, we see it as we are." I think that if we understand that, we allow ourselves to become more open to the world around us, which in turn allows us to become more tolerant, empathetic and aware. I have a voracious appetite for learning and experiencing NEW things. There is so much out there to see, do and learn that it is important for me to always be moving forward, no matter how big or little the step. The more you open yourself up, the more experiences you have, more people you meet, more friends you have, which ultimitaly works out to be a more happy life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - depends on my mood/activity,can range from classical to hip hop and most everything in between.

Books- I have self-diagnosed Literary ADD. I love a WIDE range - fiction/non-fiction. I tend to check out a multitude of books on whatever sparked my interest that week, usually more than I can actually read in the allotted 3-week check out period.

Movies- Again, wide range that depends on my mood. Need to laugh and Dumb and Dumber is one of my favorite movies. I love stories about different people that are loosely woven together with a one common tie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whale watching/Kayaking through the San Juan Islands and leaping through jellyfish just to have lunch on the beach.

Teach, Learn, Share

taught yoga and pilates in college and have been known to hold spontaneous yoga sessions at my family's request.
