ABOUT ME

I'm currently living with friends in the mountains, far from civilisation and without any access to the road network.
We try to have a simple life close to nature, with a huge respect for ecology and environment. We would like to live in self-sufficiancy so we recently started to gardening and keep cows and goats with neighbors.
We started to renovate our two old barns with ecological materials and principles.
Come and share our lifestyle ! You will enjoy hiking in the high peaks surrounding our home !

PHILOSOPHY

I advocate for living in community against the concept of property, for living in nature to understand that we are only a part of it, for the absence of excessive use of energy to find the true energetic value at human scale, for the respect of environment so that we do not take more from land than it is capable of providing, for social equity so that no action could be done without respect of a part of the community and for an unconditional personal freedom as part of founding a new state of mind: that of a society that carries out its actions and in which everyone chooses to respect the common rules because he/she believes in their meanings.

I search for a healthy, pure and fully chosen life in which the personal and collective blossoming prime on material abundance. I advocate for a life oriented only on the pursuit of happiness, which I consider uncorrelated to the seek for technological progress and improvement of material comfort.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe in exchange and freeness, which, in my opinion are key values to an open-minded and responsible society.
I try to get involved in the new exchange networks (wwoofing, carpooling, couchsurfing ...) which help to build a new world through better relationships between people : more trust, more cultural exchange and less virtual barriers and borders ...
In this sense, I'm pleased to welcome gadabouts and backpackers who would like to discover my region and my lifestyle, and wanting to share some good mood and joie de vivre.
