Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I like to surround myself with a sense adventure, new food and happiness and have those things with me while I travel the world.
ABOUT ME
I work at a bakery part-time and on my art the other part of the time. I recently moved to Austin with my husband and our two dogs. I love Austin! I love to travel, try new food, drink coffee, drink beer, give hugs, have friends, meet new friends, listen to good music, watch good movies, and occationally indulge in a brick of dark chocolate.
PHILOSOPHY
I live in hopes that in some small way I will have made this world a better place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I signed up for CS a few months ago but have been in the process of moving since I've done so. I am finally in a house with a couch and would love to help build this community in any way possible.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed on many a couch in my day. My favorite couch surfing experience would have to be when I was crashing on the couch in my friend's apartment for a few weeks before I left for Australia. She shared the apartment with three other girls who all ended up being dear friends of mine at the end of my couch surfing experience. It was so much fun!

Music, Movies, and Books
This changes constantly but here we go...Movies: Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Fall, Harold and Maude, Fight Club, The Darjeeling Limited
Books: Time Traveler's Wife, White Oleander, To Kill a Mockingbird, Replay, Twilight (I know, I know...)
TV: 30 rock, Modern Family, Parks and Rec, The Office, Big Bang Theory
Music: Vampire Weekend, MGMT, The Finches, Jack Johnson, Ludwig Van Beethoven
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driving 2000 miles from the bottom of India to the top in a 3 wheeled auto rickshaw in a matter of 2 weeks was pretty amazing. I saw and did things in those 2 weeks I didn't think was possible.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach book binding, knitting, sociology, cooking and baking.
I would like to learn to play the piano better, play the bass, design a website, and yoga.
