ABOUT ME

I want to be a priest when I grow up. I've always hated priests who have no experience with life but try to tell others how to live theirs. Instead I want to be a priest who has experienced life and simply tells others to live theirs. So I read, I sing, I talk to people, I travel, and learn as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a couple of people in my apartment in Maryland. I have surfed on several road trips. I really enjoy getting to meet and stay in touch with a diverse group of people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I grew up with the mentality of "Mi casa, su casa." My home, your home. So I've been unofficially couchsurfing for years. I recently spent two and a half weeks surfing on a road trip. It was one of the most refreshing experiences I've ever had. It was so nice to see a collection of such incredible people.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed up to the top of Guadalupe peak, the highest point in Texas, and realized that for a moment in history there was no one higher in Texas. I have seen a family of over twenty cook a traditional Slavic meal in a single kitchen. I've seen little kids looking at the world and smiling. I've seen sunflowers blooming down miles and miles of highway for no other reason than beauty. I've listened to live music that changed my heart. I've lied on my back in the middle of a cottonfield and watched a meteor shower on a warm summer day.

I play guitar, I have a interesting knowledge of Roman poets.

I am incredibly interested in history. Particularly Russian history.
