ABOUT ME

I have lived in the Seattle area my whole life except when I was in college in Bellingham. All through high school and college I had no desire to travel internationally. Now in the past year I've had a strong desire to see the world and learn about other cultures. The adventure begins September 2009.

PHILOSOPHY

To have fun and enjoy life and while doing this help others have more fun and enjoy life more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommate hosted a guy from Boston before I knew what couch surfing was. In my limited travels getting away from the tourists areas and experience what the locals do, has always been a fun experience.

Interests

Sports both watching and playing. The outdoors for hiking, biking camping and anything on the water. Music listening, but not playing. Video games and other techie toys.

Books - usually non fiction or something based on true events

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really can't think of one thing that stands out. I coordinated a charity event that raised over $40,000 kids with cancer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have so much to learn I don't know where to start. I would like to learn a foreign language and how to sail.

I do know my around Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Lake Washington and many of the hiking trails in the Cascade and where to find a good beer.
