ABOUT ME

Fred: I'm a lucky guy, having traveled Europe as a child, thanks to my parents. My parter is my highschool sweetheart and were still having a great time, for more then 16 years now. I've had all sorts of jobs (mechanic, truckdriver, bartender, mecanicteacher,..)and had the chance to keep on working on my education. Now i'm a jobcoach for people with disabilities, with gives me the chance to share these experiences.
We try to travel as much as we can, because the best way to learn is to stumble upon things you never expected to find.
Annelies: All about me? I guess thats kinda hard writing it down. I'm working as a building coördinator for now, looking for new things to do in the future. I'm a local girl, my entire family lives in the area. Thanks to Fred i got into travveling, but i still like to decorate our house. (fred thinks i overdo it at holidyseason, but hey, I like it) I'm also in to worldheritage and meeting new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We think CS is a great idea. Treveling around we got to meet all sorts of nice people, CS makes this more easy to find the nomads of this world.
We get little requests, would like to see more. We surfed in Poland, Russia, Mongolia, China and Japan. Hope to met more travelers along the way.

As far as music goes i'm the original freakazoid, planning to get to know the worlds back catalogue. These are some of my favourite bands: Tom Waits, Zappa and The Mothers of Invation, Triggerfinger(best belgian band ever, check it out), Eels, Jim White, Grinderman, Nina Simone, Prince, The Raconteurs, Rage Against The Machine, Sly and Robbie, 16 horespower, Hank Williams III, Jamie Lidell, System of a Down, Violent Femmes, Johnny Cash, Primus,.....
Tv: not that verry interested, but i like: Heroes, Soparanos and All Things Animated.
Books: never seem to finish them...read al the way and did like: American Psycho, Brave New World, Sidartha
