About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the world a better place, enable others to do the same or/and have a better life - and have fun even in the worst situations :-)

ABOUT ME

I worked as a dentist, filmmaker, journalist, photograph. Now I want to realise my internet projects and help to solve problems with technology. I am half Hungarian, half Chinese, living in Berlin and travelled in more than 40 countries in 5 continents. Worked in South-Korea, Australia, Fiji Islands, Hungary and Germany.
Languages: English, German, Hungarian, some French.
Hobbies: life long learning by going to conferences, lectures and at all the things I do.
Being creative, trying new ways of doing things, thinking out of the box.
Sports: ride bicycle, swimming, table tennis, dance (salsa, a bit bachata and standard/latin).
travel, photography.
Hope to have fun in life and also to give it to others.

PHILOSOPHY
Life and work can be incredibly interesting, if one finds his/her personal style to relate to people and the work one does.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I meet others and learn from each other's experiences. I tell others about CS and make it better known.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Before couchsurfing existed, I did it, both as a host and a surfer.
In Hamburg I had a constant stream of guests, often a friends of a friend of a friend (means strangers), in the loft I lived, when the word loft didn't exist yet. The loft was a hub for getting to know each other, which is a kind of travelling, because through the travelers I could get to know the world.
After that, I lived in shared apartments with students from all over the world, many decades.

Nowadays I travelled in South-East Asia, slept in hostels, stayed with 6-20 people in one dormitory room. It was exciting to meeet incredible interesting people.

Interests

I am interested in people like you: how you live, what are your views and problems, what are you involved in privately and professionally, how do you solve your problems, and ultimately, what makes you happy :-)
How can I make you happy? (Explanation: If you are happy, I am very happy, too :-)

More:
Use the internet for creative, useful and fun things, including entrepreneurship.
New intelligent ways of thinking and living, creating freedom and happyness.

Beauty in people, nature, art, technology, etc.
I am interested in people´s relations, the process of change; adding value to life, making it possible to grow for all kinds of people, also the poor, not only the privileged.

Music, Movies, and Books

All, if opening up new perspectives and teaching us to solve problems in this wonderful mystery called life :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I concentrate on something or I am creative, I get in a wonderful flow, forgetting everything around me and being lost in my fantasy world. It is completely independent of the circumstances and geographic location, where I am :-)

Encounters with people can be incredible revelations about human nature.
All my hosts fit in this, because they were superbly generous persons, from whom I could learn a lot, so it was a huge privilege to participate in their lives, even if only for a short time and get to know them.

So I can say, I had countless great experiences.
So to say I lived until now mostly in paradise on earth.
This made me an extremely grateful and positive person, seeing the half glass half full (instead of half empty). All the time I am discovering the good and beneficial in situations and persons and respect and value, what others feel and do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am glad to share with you my computer and internet knowledge - and all my oyher life experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am familiar with arts, startups, internet technologies, creative and innovative ways of thinking, healthy lifestyle. I have many ideas for problem solving, be it psychological or technical, and I can repair sometimes broken things in my hosts homes.

Naturally I am extremely careful with the flat of my hosts, with all their things, and I am very clean and tidy.

I am genuinely helpful, playful and have humor :-)

I am glad
- to invite my hosts to eat out (or I cook something for them)
- to offer all my hosts a mattress with full bedding on the floor of my room and invite them to eat out in Berlin.
