Hi, my name is Ditte and I'm a vet. I would describe myself as a hard-working, open-minded, fun, helpful, hospitable, slightly stubborn, most welcoming, talkative, humorous, full of life, and completely stressed out stranger looking for a break and something NEW! Good times are coming my way whether they want it or not.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in Stockholm and would like to go out and meet other couchsurfing people. I'm new here, moved here recently.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started on CS during a trip to California aug-sep 2009 and in Reykjavík july 2010, but the real breakthrough came when I lived in South Africa for a year in 2013-2013. The CS-group in Johannesburg cannot be described in words - it was the time of my life..

Interests

Books (gimme a murder mystery any day), Books (gimme a historic novel any day), Books (gimme a science fiction adventure any day), Animals (I like horses, cats, dogs, and cows. I don't like snakes. I really don't), Sports (I enjoy a good game of soccer), and Learning new things.

Dire Straits

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I went to Iceland to herd 60 horses running loose across Snæfellsnes. That's one thing I swore to do again some day so I went again.

Once I rode a camel through the ancient town of Palmyra in Syria.

Once I saw a midget on a bicycle crash into a giant lobster made of styrofoam.

Once I stuck my hand in a cow's butt. And the way things are going at vet school, I'm gonna have to do it again. Often.

I met the love of my life through CS -travelled the world with him, got married and I lost him.. Still trying to find new sense in my life, starting over again in a new country.

I get dressed to Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing. Every single day.
