ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going person, sometimes a bit reserved, but I get along very well with people and soon loose my shyness...
I am a biologist, specialized in ant ecology (yes, ants!)
Apart from bugs, animals, plants and nature as a whole, I also love human stuff! Cities, museums, movies, beer, parties, festivals, cooking, cultures, languages, history, etc. So the perfect thing to do all this things is traveling!! Yes, I love to travel (I think everyone in CS does, right?)!

PHILOSOPHY

It's hard to say... I usually follow the old rule: don't do to others something you wouldn't like to be done with you!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I spent an year in Lisbon and just arrived back in my hometown. I basically surfed during my existence in CS, because I couldn't host at the places I lived at. Now that I'm back at my house I can finally host! So feel free to ask!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had wonderful experiences here, although not many!
Surfing most of the times, but I always host people, although not trough CS for now...
I just love this thing, it's so much better to travel and be hosted by locals, and also I'v met wonderful people!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: almost all... I like movies from explosion/bullets to German expressionism! Some of my favorite directors are: Bergman, Kar-Wai, Fellini, Kieslowski, Von Trier, Cohen Brothers, and others...

Music: Rock, indie, trip-rock, MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira), some classical sometimes, and others...

Books: Lots... Prefer reading classic writers and natural history!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: A lot of interesting stuff about ants you never would have imagined! Some cooking, Portuguese, and a lot of random knowledges I'v learned around!

Learn: Anything one can teach me (unless maybe maths)! I'm very interested in learning the most my (bad) memory can take!

Share: I love to share a bar table and drink some beers with people I'm getting to know!
