HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I appreciate every host who generously welcomes me into their house. I've hosted a couple times but in the past few years I haven't been in one place long enough to do it. So I try to be great company and make it a worthwhile experience for all those that I meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a broad spectrum. Most have been good, some have been wonderful and a few have been.... unfortunate. In the end, it's worth it to keep meeting people because when it works out well, it is the BEST. I'm addicted!

I first logged on to CS after i went to Spain for a few weeks with my sister. we had a fantastic time, met great new people who were very kind, and learned a to. we spent a few nights in hostels and a few sleeping on the streets. It was a great experience but it might have been nice to have a couch to stay on. I am now determined to help fellow travelers have a great trip in any way i can.

I could teach: Kenpo karate, massage, italian, how to cook my favorite recipes, dancing (ballroom, latin, swing, and silly), portuguese

I am also a professional massage therapist so I give a good shoulder rub :)

What i'd like to learn: any language, any craft, about any culture or religion, new recipes, any kind of dance, skills!
