ABOUT ME

I finished up school a couple years ago and couldn't find the job I wanted. The more I sat around and looked for employment, the more I got the urge to just get up and go. I went to China to begin a teaching/traveling tour of the world, and met my wife, Ivy. Now we split our time between China and the US every 6 months.

Briefly: I enjoy natural tourist sites such as national parks or a nice swimming hole. Card, board or sports games are a fun pastime. It's hard to imagine a night out without a beer.

PHILOSOPHY

Lot of thoughts, no solid philosophy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm in Zibo, China in Shandong province from January to June every year. Then I'll be in Hedgesville, West Virginia from June to January.

If you're passing through either location and want to see some of the sites, need something to do at night or would just like a couch or bed let me know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed in Shanghai with a Couchsurfer. In Xi'an joined up with some of the local Couchers for a monthly meet-up and made some friends. Have hosted a few folks in Zibo.
