ABOUT ME

I was born on a bitterly cold Februrary's day in Romania in the year 1985 AD.

I'm an open-minded, honest and easy-going fella, who tries his best to seize the day.
I am addicted to travelling the world and to see as much of it as possible...

I'm a translator (English to German) working for a geothermal project company in Munich at the moment.
I quit my job last month to be free for travelling the Carribbean and Latin America for about a year. I set out for my journey on November 6th.... So maybe we'll meet on my way from Mexico down to Ushuaia.

I don't like time tables... although I like to plan certain things such as travel tours.
I am very interested in other cultures and I love to hear the life stories and opinions of people I meet on the road and what they have learned from life so far.
I am a direct/straight person by nature... which is good most of the time but not always as I experience from time to time.

Besides that I am a social-ecologist who wants to be outside as much as possible; I like to think about how to destroy the big companies.

I love jokes, especially absurd and saucey ones... but I never can remember any joke, it's terrible.

Other very refreshing features of my personality are impatience, curiosity and the habit to whistle all the time.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life, do good, travel wide and travel wild.

We have to unite and stand up to all the hypocrites who are deceiving us and who are continuing to spread more and more glaring injustice in this world.

Thinking is hard work; which is why we are too often blended by prejudice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not been surfing any couch yet... but I am going to start travelling the Carribean and Latin America in November for about a year...

So I guess I am going to make a lot of new friends and I am looking forward to hosting them in Munich as soon as I am back from my trip.

This is sth completely true. I have hosted some people in the last years now and then. Mainly friends of friends who I met during my backpacking tours in Europe. And I am now looking forward to see these friends again in the US and Mexico.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life ist the most amazing and crazy thing I've ever experienced!

I experienced quadrupels in the age of 7 months laughing off their asses because their dad was goofing around making them laugh - that was really amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to improve my Spanish; learn some Patois, Portugues, surfing, diving and horse riding.
I want to know more about the indigenous pepole of the Americas.

I'm willing to share and teach what I can.
