ABOUT ME

We're a bunch of 30-40 people who have decided to squat a large green area in the south of hannover to prevent the chemical company Boehringer-Ingelheim from building a laboratory for animal testing on this place.
We've been living here since the beginning of july 2009, and the camp keeps on growing - crazy people from many places have arrived, building sheds and houses, cooking in the kitchen tent, growing plants, discussing and caring for our little village that was suddenly there.
Most of us have an anarchist, left-wing radical, eco-activist background, but we also get support from hannover citizens, neighbours and families who live nearby and help us with food and water.
Our aim is to live here until Boehringer finally decides not to built a laboratory for animal testing - neither here nor anywhere - and goes to where the pepper grows.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to do a workshop, feel free to teach us anything you can do - you will surely find people who are interested. Things you might learn (depending on the people who are here at the time) include juggling, planting, tree-climbing, building, music, artistic, cooking and lots of other stuff...
Travelling musicians, artists or theatre groups that want to perform are of course always welcome!
