COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far only one surfing experience in Phoenix when I was interviewing to work in Germany and it was super!
Interests
I think the most encompassing interest in my life is my possibly naive interest/belief in the cliche "You can do anything you put your mind to." With this naivety I try to live without compromising on what I want out of life. If I someday have kids and they tell me about their dreams, I want to be able to respond by saying, "Get after those dreams, make them happen, that's what Dad did." So currently, I am chasing after my interest to see the world, and I am about to purchase a new load of photography gadgets to aid in chasing my interest/dream of becoming a commercial photographer and fine artist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just over a year ago I was having coffee at my favorite Coffee spot In Bozeman MT, where I lived for a bit, and the sun began to set just as a very light rain was letting up in town but still misting on the border of town and the Bridger mountain range. I looked out my coffee shop window all the way down seventh street into the rain smudged Bridgers. What I saw, outside of the regular scenery seventh street had to offer, was unlike anything I had ever seen before. It was as if the rain/mist had decided to cut its falling duties short and instead bonded itself with the sky, creating a softer, water infused, but still entirely translucent version of the sky for the sun to evenly distribute itself in. From the top of the Bridgers slightly ominous yet ultra serene, rain screened bit of sky, and continuing down to a tangible altitude, the entire sky took on an unbelievable, soft, warm tone. The "phenomenon", if you will, took up so much of the sky that "sky" doesn't even seem to be the correct noun. The sun seemed to swallow up the entirety of the air. It swallowed up the sky, and kept coming down, down so close to the ground that I'm sure, had I ran outside to breath it, as I should have, it would have felt distinctly different in my lungs. It was incredibly peaceful, and intensely beautiful.
Disclaimer: I really tried to give my best description here but I'm sure my mediocre writing abilities have done a terrible injustice to the real experience, so use your imagination a bit! :)
