ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK Canada and I love it there, but at this point in my life I want to continue to travel as much as I can and meet new people and have tons of fun on the road!! I`ve seen a lot of Europe and the Middle East, just got back from living in S.Korea and am looking forward to my next adventure!!! I'm pretty easy-going, spontaneous and very sociable! I can be shy at first, but I love being around people and exploring new places. I want to see as much of the world as I possibly can! I like to think I'm a very open-minded individual who can get along with just about anyone...I'm always up for a pint (or several)! or anything fun :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I don`t have a place of my own since I just got back from Korea and I`m off again in a month to find a place to live in the UK to go to school, but I`m always willing to meet up with ppl and give some friendly advice. I plan to offer a couch in the future once I`m stationary for a while!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I`ve hosted lots of people in the past who were traveling to Saskatoon for the Anarchist Bookfair, a concert or for no good reason in particular. It was a good experience; they were good people. Everywhere that I`ve traveled overseas I`ve stayed in shared dorms in hostels, but I`m hoping to be able to CS in August until I find a place to live in Leeds!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many!!! I`m very ecclectic so I`ll read and listen to just about anything..I do tend to favour the older classic tunes and any books with substance, especially about true historical matters are great...some movies I like hmm: clockwork orange, reservoir dogs, Schindler's List, when harry met sally, some old school musicals, gone with the wind, scarface, silence of the lambs, kill bill (anything Tarentino)...etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on the edge of a cliff in the pouring rain at Glencoe with the wind ripping around me and a rainbow forming over the hills...AMAZING...the highlands were probably the most beautiful place I've ever seen...and that's saying a lot

Teach, Learn, Share

I've learnt a lot from travelers and those from other countries. Anyone who`s lived in different places or is of or has experienced different cultures is someone I'd love to be around...or anyone with a different view on things...really, just anyone who I can have fun with and learn from/with
