ABOUT ME

We are 2 good friends from the same city, we know each other for 6 years. We used to live in collocation for 2 years in France. Last year we decided to go in Australia to live a new experience and it was the best idea we had. There we discovered a lot of amazing landscapes, we travelled by campervan in the east coast, we worked both in cafés and first of all we met so many lovely people with whom we shared great moments. We decided before coming back in France to extend our trip to Asia and Indonesia. It was a dream for a long time to go there because the soul and the culture of those places are so authentic and it s in those kind of atmosphere that we want to live later.

PHILOSOPHY

Carole: Peaceful living is about trusting those on whom we depend and caring for those who depend on us!
Pascal: There is no way to the happiness, the happiness is the way!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually, I'm new in this project, but I think the idea is amazing and we really need more projects like this in the world to help people to get closer and share. When I'm back in my city, and I have a place to live, I'll welcome people for sure!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just discovered the CS project a cupple of months ago, here in Australia, but when I was in Montréal i used to welcome friends of friends I didn't know into my place and it was a really nice experience to meet people and help them to discover the city i was living in and liked.

Interests

- Buddhism and phylosophy in general.
- Music (I play piano and want to learn guitar, harmonica and yukulele).
- Yoga and meditation.
- Animals (I used to do horse riding during 6 years and have had a lot of animals at home).
- Naturopathy (every kind of ancestral medicines and plants).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We both helped to build a Zen garden in a Buddhist temple in Marseille and it was an amazing work which thought them a lot.
We are, at this moment, living our first farm experience in Australia and it’s one of the best experience we never had. I love animals and there are plenty of them there, and people are just real and lovely. Days are just simple and we enjoy the beauty of mother earth. Great!

Teach, Learn, Share

Carole:
I really have an interest on traditional medicine ( Asian, Indian…) I try to improve my knowledge on that in reading an trying it, and I think that maybe now I begin to be better and I love sharing when I think it can be helpful.
I can also share my pleasure of cooking and after some tries it can be really tasty!
Pascal:
I love sharing my passion of art in general.
