Understanding is fun, knowledge enhances our experiences. Yet life is suffering, all things are transitory. Struggle makes us wiser.

I still feel ill-equipt to understand the world, therefore I'm trying to become smarter. One day I hope to be able to use this knowledge to benefit humanity.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Mmmmm, maybe not particularly amazing by back-packer standards, but I once purchased a second-hand Vietnam-made bicycle in Ho Chi Minh city and then rode in North-ward to Hanoi. Then I rode it into Laos. The bicycle broke down many times, especially its brakes, resulting in two incidents in which I could have been badly injured. The 'amazing' part of this 3-month bicycle journey was the sights seen and the experience of solitarity.
