ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old chemistry student from Muenster, a beautiful university city in Germany. I have just completed an eight week research project in Ontario, Canada. I think that my previous stays abroad have made me a very open-minded and interested person. I love meeting new people and being able to have a glimpse of their lifes and cultures. To me, a stay in a foreign country is incomplete if you don't get the opportunity to stay with locals because hotels are pretty much the same all over the world.
If I was to describe myself, I would say that I am easy going and able to adapt myself to new situations. I love to laugh and share a good joke. My friends are very important to me, since they are like my family. We love visiting concerts and music festivals on the weekends or just hang out with some good old german beer.
Hmmm, I don't know what else to tell you, other than that it would be great if you would give me an opportunity to surf your couch. I have just started couch surfing and I'm loving it!!!

PHILOSOPHY

I try not to take life too serious and seize the day...I have to take a break every now and then and just catch a plane to another place.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I am in the middle of travelling, I can't be a host at the moment. But once I'm back in Germany I would love to help people out that want to visit Muenster!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first and only experience was in santa barbara, CA. I had a lot of fun and met great people...it made me realize that I would love to experience more of california this way!

right now I'm reading Paulo Coelho's books, the alchemist kind of inspired my travels
I like music a lot, concerts and festivals are my kind of thing. I really like Maximo Park, my favourite band, but also classics like Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan.

I travelled Australia for six months and during that time I met many great people and went to amazing places.
I saw wallabies sitting on white beaches while the setting sun turned the sky into a red ocean...too good to be true :-)
and I saw rain pouring down on and from ayer's rock, pretty cool...loved it, especially because it was my birthday.

I can teach german if anyone is interested...and I know how to juggle, but with no more than 3 balls or those bigger shiny things that I don't know the name of. I also used to be able to ride an unicycle...but it's been quite a while!
