HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed and have hosted CSers while travelling in the Balkans and Latin America. Now that I have my place set up in Montreal, I'm happy to welcome you!

I often talk to people about CS, and how it has helped me cultivating compassion.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was in Zagreb, Croatia in 2009. I loved how easy and fluid it was to connect with others. Since, I've been hosting and surfing, and I'm often deeply touched by the experience!

Interests

Me. You. Us. Or in other words, how individuals come together to learn from each other, play, work and build harmonious communities.

I love life, traveling, feeling free, and being humbled by how beautiful nature and other fellow humans are. I enjoy hikes, tea, a nice veggie meal, conversation, silence, and dancing (I'm a 5 rhythms enthusiast).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I love music in all forms, and it has a very important place in my life :) Sounds I like are spacey, galactic, lasery... I love pink noise!

For a very long time my favorite type of music was electronic music. I love the way it causes my imagination to visualize sound, specially those sounds that can't be associated to an instrument.

Yet, I have always had a higher respect for 'natural' music, made with human hands and voices.
Currently, I am exploring new instruments that allow me to reproduce what I experience with electronic music. I like the atmosphere created by the hang, the spookiness of the musical saw, and there are more to explore but I haven't gotten a chance yet.

Books:
I read about health, nutrition and healing techniques, ancient knowledge and scientific discoveries. I also read science fiction novels and biographies.

Movies:
I tend to fall asleep when watching movies :o
But when I manage to stay awake, I like science fiction (specially futuristic post-apocalyptic movies), thoughtfull movies, and documentaries.

Hmmm, being alive is pretty amazing.
