About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission, for now, is to finally finish my undergraduate studies.
ABOUT ME
My life right now revolves around school and sports. I play on my school's rugby team, as the only foreigner in a completely Japanese environment. However my classes are packed with third-culture-kids and world citizens.
These last two years of college in Japan have been both the hardest and best of my life.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm fairly easygoing and don't get stressed easily. I leave things to the last minute far too often, but always get by in the end.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy traveling during the two or three weeks a year I don't have class or practice, and am free to leave Tokyo.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've yet to get a chance to couchsurf or host anyone, though I hop this changes soon!
Interests
I play rugby, read, and somehow manage to avoid working on my Japanese despite it being the language I've used most for the last 4 years

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many books and movies to list. My music tastes are eclectic; I'll happily listen to Japanese folk, Electronic, and Classical in the same sitting.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I've done was go up to Northern Japan after the tsunami, as a translator for a newswriter. Walking around the wreckage of entire cities which had been destroyed, and talking to survivors, was an incredible experience.
