I am passionate about learning new things. I have been in school for a long time and hope to be a student forever (although not literally attending school). Love to learn about other cultures and ways of living. Like hearing about environmentalism, sustainability, and more liberal lines of logic/politics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Slept on couch of friends of friends in San Francisco before living in the bay area myself. Great experience except for the fact that I was freezing (no extra blankets). Nice people, great breakfast. It is an amazing experience to have someone open their home to you and to live "a day in the life" of another.

Interests

Hiking, reading, traveling (of course!!!), meditation, running, trail running, yoga! and newly interested in rock and kayaking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I find myself drawn to books with international characters. Musical tastes are varied. Like independent films, a few documentaries and some comedies, romantic, or dramas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed highest volcano in Central America. Endured 5 hours in the back of a pick-up truck in the heat and dust on dirt roads and drove into the waves of the ocean. Held on tight.
