To write the Great Korean Novel...and to do acid on a beach in Thailand

ABOUT ME

I'm currently an ESL teacher in Suncheon, South Korea trying to write the Great Korean Novel and more or less kickstart a life-time of drinking, drugs, traveling and writing in the spirit of one Dr. Hunter S. Thompson.

PHILOSOPHY

Books: Anything by HST, Vonnegut, Orwell, Eggers, Kesey, Wolfe, Palahniuk etc.

Music: Punk rock and classic rock with a smattering of old school hip-hop. And I'm giving this whole Yeah Yeah Yeahs/Metric/indiefunkelectropop whatever the fuck you want to call it stuff a shot recently, too. It's pretty alright.

Movies: Many and varied. Special mention to Boondock Saints, Lucky Number Slevin, Requiem, Trainspotting, Rocky IV, Good Night and Good Luck and the Sandlot.
