About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be able to have a positive impact on other peoples lives, to be understanding and humane, to travel as much as I can, and try not be scared of time and enjoy every minute of the rest of my life.
ABOUT ME
I am Portuguese, born in Lisbon, but my family is from Angola. I lived in Mozambique and Macau when I was a child. Currently I am living in Berlin.
Usually people remember me for my smile. I smile a lot! I tend to speak my mind without thinking twice (which sometimes gets me into trouble...). I hate pretending that I like what I don't. I'm independent, very impulsive, sincere, intuitive and adventurous. I consider myself a very sociable person and am so happy to know I have friends from all ages, cultures and backgrounds. For me the world is my home and human kind is my family.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't waste time, don't be afraid to speak about feelings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Before joining the CS community, I had hosted people in my house in Lisbon. I was also hosted in Amsterdam by a friend of a friend which I didn't know. So as I thought I had the spirit, I decided to try couchsurfing! Until now, I only had the chance to host and it has proved to be in fact a great experience!! The best one can get is not a free place to sleep, the best is meeting new people, exchange experiences and cultures... It's priceless!
Interests
Traveling, of course. I like adventure travels, exploring cities, little towns, knowing local people, making friends around the world, trying other foods, learning from different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: my taste is very eclectic but I especially like 80's new wave, indie rock, and to dance I love latin music and pop-rock.
Movies: some of my favorite ones are Old Boy, Dancer in the Dark, Mulholland Drive, Spirited Away, Vertigo, A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Pan's Labyrinth, Human (documentary), among many more.
Books: I love reading so just some examples of what I like. Works from Fernando Pessoa (Portuguese poet and writer); Cien Años de Soledad and El Amor en los Tiempos del Cólera, by Gabriel Garcia Marques; Patagonia Express, by Luis Sepulveda; Rebecca, by Daphne du Maurier (and also her short stories); The Prophet, by Khalil Gibran; the Millennium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson; The Pillars of the Earth and the Century Triology by Ken Follet; Os Maias, by Eça de Queirós, among many others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have a lot of amazing experiences and it would be an extensive list, but surely the best thing I have done in my life was having conversations and sharing moments with beautiful human beings from all over the world, and also living experiences that made me feel truly connected with Nature.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing my life and traveling experiences and learning about other cultures. Also, I love learning new languages. Would love to learn Arabic.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My passion for the world and its people, all the stories from my travels and life experiences. I also love to tell more about Portuguese and African culture (since I have a mix of both). One of my favorite things is to introduce people to Portuguese gastronomy (I can cook pretty decently) and to Portuguese wines.
