About Me
CURRENT MISSION
a healthy mix of social and ecological awareness and popular culture slacker.
ABOUT ME
I'm curious. And at least once I'm willing to try out almost everything. Im mainly in to music and literature but I like other stuff too, like food, nature and a nice surprise. Im kind of geeky in some ways and consider electronics(as in music+sound), computorgames and bizarre variations of popular culture important parts of adult life.
PHILOSOPHY
I´m a really optimistic pessimistic person. Even though I sometimes have a, eh, somewhat dark approcah, i really try to see things from the lighter side. There is hope for humanity.
Lets be honest, I prefer a conversation with someone who has nuances, If someone is hunky-dory all happy ALL the time, i tend to get suspicious. But that's just me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm not a supertraveller, but i'd like to get out more. I've been staying at friends homes in Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona and San Francisco. I think i'ts the ultimate way to get a personal perspective and valuable tips and views of the place. it is simply so much better than any luxurious hotel. The reason i have never been to NY is I have never made friends w someone I could come visit there. (note, taken care of now, visited october 09. good friends just moved there!) So thanx couchsurfing. I hope . I lend out my home to friends, friends of friends and musicians on tour when ever there is a need. i plan to continue cause it´s lovely.
Interests
I like experimental music, modern art, second-hand and thriftstores, nature when you can get back to the city, historical stuff, architecture, long walks in new neighbourhoods, long sories about things i know nothing about, and i love to get the chance to talk about Sweden with forigners(kind of embarrasing to admit, but totally true).

Music, Movies, and Books
Songs from the second floor, Midnight Cowboy, The Wrestler, Boys don't cry, Korean horror (beautiful) and an occasional hang up on a tv series or so.
I listen to a lot of different things, it varies from folk blues progressive to doom, noise electronica. Dont give much for reggae and moderns soul though (But im willing to try)
Carson McMullers, Eric Schlosser, Chris Andersson, mark Lynas, Chuck Palahniuk, Joan Didion and others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just got home from a festival in Gagnef in Dalarna, everything was really nice. But the thing that topped it of was dalälven, a big stream running through the festival area, and the sauna in a running naked distance from the stream.
I also loved staying in an occupied house in Amsterdam for a couple of weeks over christmas, this is a couple of years ago now, but it was something completely different than the stay at home w family christmas I usually participate in just to make rest of the family content.
Im really glad I have a job that makes me able to help other people realize dreams and get knowledge and experiences. It's great to get to be a person who helps others.
Teach, Learn, Share
OK, so I have some skills.
If you come to my home and you're zipper is broken i can fix it. I know a lot about DIY sewing so If you want a crash course I can help. With DIY sewing i mean to fix up simple cloting - no tailored jacket! I can also cook food for you, i do not cook animals myself, but if you really neeed your sausage i can look the other way. I have a lot of tricks and weird "stay at home mom" skills in the kitchen that i Gladly share.
I´d like to learn better German, and some new skills with the compitor is noting i'd say no to.
