About Me

CURRENT MISSION

...to learn

ABOUT ME

I'm an Engineer about to throw his career away to by a starving musician. But, it's not all dire, because I brew some pretty delicious beer. I have a microbrewery in my garage, so at least I'll starve happily, whilst pouring my heart into the drums ;)

Apart from music, I'm pretty into craft beers these days (as you've probably figured). I also have a tendency to begin hobbies that are quite difficult to master...guess that makes them all the more rewarding.
I used to do a lot of Bike Trials (google Danny Macaskill for a fine example). Now I'm into surfing and aikido.

I also love travel. Which, due to the aforementioned imminent change in employment, is getting harder to afford. However, I WILL have waaaaaay more time and energy for far more important things than a good wage.. like meeting people, investing in relationships, and enjoying life. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Imagine if every person you met, you left in a more positive and/or better state than before you met them.
I'm not sure how to accomplish this all the time, but it's something I think is worth striving for.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Due to share house arrangements, my ability to host is sometimes dependent on my housemate's plans. But do ask! :)

Even if I can't host, I'm keen to give back to the CS community by hanging out with travellers on wkds, and showing them some of Newcastle's spots
