Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling through Germany and other city's in Europe, volunteering on organic farms, and meeting interesting people along the way.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a wealthy "to do" suburb of Philadelphia. Not knowing any better, I continued on this path by attending the business college at Penn State University. After a few traumatic experiences with scummy people, I up and left for a semester abroad in Athens, Greece. This is where I caught my first travel bug and it has been mind-expanding bliss ever since.
PHILOSOPHY
See as much of the world as I can, share experiences with many different people, and to learn something new along the way. I'll worry about money later in life when my soul settles in a beautiful place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I recently signed up for the CS project. I've heard such great stories about it and would like to participate more.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have never formally used CS as a tool to couch surf, but my most memorable couch surfing/guest experience goes like this... I was making a travel pilgrimage to the holy Mt. Athos peninsula in Northern Greece with a friend of mine from Madison, Wisconsin. While in transit, I met two Americans on a ferry ride to the base of the mountain. These were the only Americans I met or even saw in this area of Greece during the entire trip. Upon our departure with these friendly guys, Chad and Johnny invited us to stay at their apartment in Prague if we were ever in the neighborhood. So a month later I made the trip to Prague, met up with Chad, and had a great experience staying on his couch. He was especially knowledgeable with city history, being a tour guide for a few months.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction. Music: Most music that sounds harmonious to my ear: Bon Iver, Yeasayer, Ray LaMontagne, Zepplin, Bob Dylan, Stones, and local bands that rock. Books: In Defense of Food, To Kill a Mockingbird, Bob Dylan Chronicles.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cliff jumping on the island of Crete on Matala Beach. The cliffs are where expats lived during the 60's and 70's, included one gentleman named Bob Dylan.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a trained knowledge in Economic studies, International Business, and Classics. I would love to learn more about Solar and Wind power, organic farming, and self sufficiency.
