ABOUT ME

Since I finished high school,my life for the last 5 years has been a calculated mess, comprising a casual year of university in Sydney where I learned, if nothing else, that joining a rugby club is not good for your liver.
I have only just begun to travel, however I would like to see as much of the world as I can, and lately most of my travel decisions have been quite spontaneous..which has led me most recently to a vineyard in Oregon where I have been working since June.

PHILOSOPHY

It doesn't matter what country someone's from, or what they look like, or the color of their skin. It doesn't matter what they smell like, or that they spell words slightly differently some would say more correctly. I'm a person. Bret's a person. You're a person. That person over there is a person. And each person deserves to be treated like a person.
And I usually like to prove my point in song format.

The outdoors, sport,books, music, backgammon and laughing at everything/anything...also TV Shows such as Flight of the Conchords and the Mighty Boosh.

Alternative rock, metal, punk, acoustic...there's always a song in my head. My favourite bands include Cog, Tool, Deftones, Jimmy Eat World, The Butterfly Effect, A Perfect Circle, Ashes Divide, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Jane's Addiction and too many others to list.
My favourite movies include The Life Aquatic, Snatch, Lord of the Rings, Anchorman and Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny..pretty much anything funny, quirky or adventurous.
