ABOUT ME

I use to be shy, but since I've lived abroad and started teaching, I guess I've gained in maturity (? old age?? already!). I am logical and organised, but not at all maniac. Probably anxious too, but more on a caring way than anxious about life in general :) I am curious and easily amazed by things, especially new countries, cities, people and cultures. I love new foods and tastes, but have a digestive illness which gives me difficult days at time. Yes, I guess what could describe me best is my constant awe for what is new, and my fidelity for what I know already.

Interests

I am into arts, museums, and finding a popular culture with these people classifying arts into some sort of elitist shrine. Let's go democracy!
I am into literatures, and I'm aiming to speak more languages soon in order to read all foreign literatures in their original version. Bon, of course, I will have to read some translation now and there...!!!
I am into music, photography, traveling, cooking, history and learning new things about anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled and met people from all around the world, and discovered earth was much, much larger than Europe! I have visas stamps in my passport now :)
I've traveled in the mountains of Taiwan, and in the middle of the fog, saw amazing tropical plants I had never seen before in my life. I tasted fruits with wonderful tastes, and smelled extraordinary fumes of foods and incenses I had not even dreamt of :) I've swam in the Pacific Ocean in February, and seen India from the plane :)
I've tasted baklavas in Istanbul, and I am still salivating about it. Perhaps the reason why I decided to go and live there??!
