HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hope to travel meeting new people and becoming a part of their life for some time. Unfortunately I have no couch now (I’m working on this problem), but I’m open for surfers coming to my city. I’ll try to help you enjoy Russia and feel Russian.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Almost unexperienced..The first and for the time being only CS experience happened when I was coming back to Russia from the volunteer camp in Germany and had nothing to do and nobody to meet in Moscow..thanks to Tanya for so detailed information about CS and help to meet Andrey in Moscow who appeared to be a great guide and very nice and helpful person to deal with. Completely not realizing what was happening I became the member of CS.

兴趣

I study international relations and prefer to create new warm relations among nations myself not waiting for the government. I love travelling(though it's a trivial thing to say here), drawing with a pencil (sometimes I’m good at it, depends on my mood). I am a huge dancing fan! A party? I'm in. My recent interest is lindy-hop, though I'm still striving to trust a partner, as they put it, cause all my life I've been "individual responsibility" dancing. Volunteering is really inspiring. I am much into student festivals, languages, cycling, warm weather, postcards, cocktails, scarves and PEOPLE!

Movies: dancing movies like Step up, Take the lead, Honey…soviet movies and especially cartoons (and songs from there), also the Devil's Advocate (the unforgettable Al Pacino’s monologues) the Hours and lots of movies with Meril Streep, Paris, I love you, Amely, The boy in striped pajama’s, Australia (such a beautiful movie about my dream country), The dog on the hay.
Books: Jerom, Bulgakov (especially “Master and Margarita” and “the Notes of a Young Doctor”), Maupassant, Murdoch, Woulf “Mrs Dalloway”, Salinger “the Catcher in the Rye”, the poems of Mayakovskiy
Music: dancing music, love Scorpions, Spanish guitar

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The first and the only time I've seen the ocean (American East coast)..It looks like a sea, but the fact that you know that there is no other shore in the same hemisphere takes your breath away.
There others I guess which do not come to my mind on the spot..

Learn: your language, traditional dance, games and especially the way people in your country see the world. I dream to play some instrument…the guitar…if you know how to I’ll be happy to become your student for some time….
Teach: jungle (I’m learning too), Russian or English if somebody interested, how to cook pancakes
