About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." Anais Nin
ABOUT ME
I strive to be open to just about anything. I love getting into good conversations with new people I meet. I cherish being outside, especially in the woods, on a sunny day. I like talking about things that people don't like to talk about-- that are hushed, secretive, taboo. I want to learn endlessly about other people and cultures and ideas different from my own. I want to speak more languages so that I can do this better. I love hearing people's stories and being swept up by them.
PHILOSOPHY
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us most. -- Marianne Williamson
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The warmth, generosity, and amazingness of the people I stayed with out west when I was couchsurfing a couple years ago totally flattened me. I am now excited to return the favor back here in my hometown of Amherst, MA!
Greensboro and Asheville have also been particularly good to me. I can't lie. Shout out to all my peeps there. :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Really it's changed my life, as simple as that. I've made lifelong friends through couchsurfing and have had experiences I will never forget.
Interests
Watching the moonrise. The sunrise. Sunsets. Belly laughing. Talking. Listening. Crying. Smiling. Walks in the woods. Bike rides at night. Running with the moon. Skinny dipping. DANCING. Eating really good food. Cooking, savoring, and enjoying it with awesome company makes it all the better too.
I want to exist at the edges, the boundaries, the meeting points, and the places of friction so that I can understand both sides more.
