Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted at my home for traveling CS's and been to a few activities in other cities. As a seasoned traveler, I have been the beneficiary of help from locals. Where I can be of assistance, I am happy to do so.
I have reached out to many locals to seek advice prior to travel, which has been a great resource!

When you request to stay or to meet up, please tell me why you would like to stay with me, what brings you to Memphis and what you would like to see/do while here.
Please have a filled-out profile and some kind of references. (make a local meet up, chat with some locals and get referenced)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have meet CS's while traveling around the world at gatherings, surfed one couch and hosted several people as well. I feel this site is awesome and full of very good people and resources.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The birth and continuing lives of my daughters. The cycle of life now having two grandsons and three grand daughters.
Traveled to Alaska to watch the 1000 mile Iditarod dog mushing race. While there, rode snowmobiles to the first checkpoint. Then took a tour to a glacier with our own team of dogs.
Stayed in Hong Kong for eight Glorious weeks and also went to Singapore for the Formula One race and Ho Chi Minh City for sightseeing.
On the way home spent another week in Waikiki, went hang gliding over the North Shore and relaxed on Maui for another week.
Scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef was the trip of a lifetime!
