ABOUT ME

You travel, I travel, we're going to get along swimingly!I live in Copenhagen but my passport says "United States of America" complete with bald eagle. I'm easy to spot here in Denmark - I'll be the only one jaywalking. I am a student. I study cities - their design, politics, sociology, and economics. Trying to understand new cities is half the reason I travel. An afternoon walk through a new city beats any museum!I adore stimulating debates with people that respectfully disagree with me - it's the best learning opportunity I can find.

PHILOSOPHY

In a pinch, I resort to "fuck it, rock and roll" as a pretty solid philosophy. On a more long term basis, I believe avoiding comfortable situations makes people grow. Discomfort spurs new perspective, appreciation, and compassion (My couch does not apply here).

I've had nothing but amazing couchsurfing experiences around the world! Mostly surfing, but the little bit of hosting I've managed to provide has been a great time as well (I hope to be able to host more in the near future).
