ABOUT ME

I own and operate a handyman business and drive tractor-trailer over-the-road. I am a jack of all trades and a master of none.

My approach is to repair or fix things before replacing them; unless the customer wants new. I enjoy helping people with items they don't understand or things they don't want to deal with.

I have a long, long list of work experience. I have been a machinist, worked in residential and commercial construction, manager in retail and wholesale, tractor-trailer driver, and a scuba diving instructor; just to name a few.

I have hosted and I'm looking forward to surfing (Europe be on the lookout for me;)).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the early 1990's I traveled to southern California, and a friend of mine at the time contacted a friend of his and set it up for me to stay on his couch for a night.

Interests

I enjoy photography. I have photographed weddings and events. I like to create pictures that are more spontaneous or candid than posed.

I also enjoy the following as regularly as possible: traveling, giving back/helping others, personal growth, hanging out with friends, golfing, riding my mountain bike, scuba diving(warm water)and most other water activities, flying, most winter activities, motorcycling, hiking/camping, and listening to the sound of the surf breaking on the shore or beach.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite movies “ Shaw Shank Redemption, Pay It Forward, Lord of the Rings, Animal House.

I listen to a variety of music - Classic Rock, R&B, Alternative Rock, Easy listening, Big Band or Swing, a little Jazz, and even less Classical.

Some of the books I have read - Think and Grow Rich, Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Travelers Gift, The Celestine Prophecy, The Stand.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - if you do not know how to swim, and you want to learn how; I can teach you. I can help you with your English; I have taught Basic English as a second language to adults.

Learn - I want to learn more about different countries and cultures. The more I experience the more I see that we are more alike regardless what part of the world anyone is from.

Share - A couch, and my experiences.
