About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to find the good bits in anything
ABOUT ME
I am a dreamer, gamer and a rambler. I lead my life like a dog running in its sleep- 'lazy' but always dreaming of adventures in the lands beyond.
I am an 'urban explorer' - Compass and map in pocket, and the local phrase that means "Help, I'm lost", and I'm ready for adventure.
I lead a simple lifestyle, appreciating everything that I have, and not asking for what I don't have.
PHILOSOPHY
I want to fly high, free of any bonds, free of any social restrictions, free~. Lead my life the way I want it, and pursue happiness instead of richness or social status.
Happiness has to be earned, not won in a lucky draw. I want to appreciate the little things in life, and take every hardships as a good lesson learnt. I want to say I love myself and I love my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The couch is always available for the taking :)
I can cook for a simple lunch/dinner whenever I'm free. But... got to tell me beforehand. I seem to survive on photosynthesis and rarely stock up on food.
I can also bring you around sights that I know, most likely a scenic, leisurely walk, where we can talk about the world and life :)
Just note that being a student (especially a medic) is a sad, sad life where time precious, and I may need some coaxing to get out of house...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm going to couchsurf in Japan in November-December. I have yet to ask around for couch, but I'm so excited!
Interests
I love getting lost in a new place soaking in the atmosphere, walking wherever my feet (or bicycle) will take me. Get to an unknown place, close my eyes, and blend with the air around me. Be invisible amidst sea of people and building. Be a nobody for once.
I love baking- you'll be guaranteed a brownie :)
I am a boy at heart with regards to video games. Mention games and you can see the crazed look in my eyes as I rambled on about how I spend the years of my life holding controllers like it's part of my limbs.
Bring your DS or PSP, we'll have a match :) (I suck at fighting games though...)
I love learning new things. Come and teach me your passions, and I'll teach you mine!
I draw too, but not I mostly draw in my head (ie. it's my excuse for being lazy to draw after a long time)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm music illiterate. I'm the reigning champion of 'Who can't name the song' contest.
Reading runs in my blood. I read everything and anything. Gotta swallow 'em up!
Well nobody read these section anyway... Let me tell you my fav phrase:
'My computer can beat me in chess, but it'll never beat me in kickboxing!'
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing much, really, except being myself, wandering around wherever I want, live a life of stray cat.
Learn anything I want to learn, and see what humanity has to offer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can let you meet my guitar, show you how my relationship with my baby is a bitter-sweet one. We struggled together through classical, flamenco, pop, you-name-it, and we have yet to cross the finishing line.
I won't want to reach it yet anyway. The journey is the important bits.
And I'll show you my housewifey side, how I bake to fill that empty slot in people's heart, albeit a temporary one. Cheat here and there with the ingredients, and we shall pray together for the success of our cake!
And if you want to be 'sporty at home' let me introduce you to DDR (dance dance revolution, and I believe the wuropean call it 'Dancing Stage')! Flail around and show me your move on the DDR mat :)
