ABOUT ME

I'm an engineering student (in the process of graduating right now though), work in 2D-3D conversion of movies and try to find as much time as possible that I could dedicate to my own little projects. Back in the day, I also used to DJ but now that I have a way cooler job I only do it for shits and giggles.
Other than that I'm pretty much into anything that excites me, and I can get pretty much excited for anything.
Like all Sciences (Neuroscience probably being my favorite), Engineering, Design, Arts, Photography, Soccer, Nature, Skateboarding, Bicycles, Good foods, Zombie Movies, Sunny Days, Circuit-Bending, Dancing, Open-Source,
... you get the idea. The type of guy that would only complain that there is too little time to check out everything he wants to.
I sure hope that you can get me excited about something new.

Music, Movies, and Books

Being from Berlin, you just get addicted to electronic music. Tech minimal, Tech house or whatever you want to call all that stuff that makes you party and dance for 24 hours straight.
But other than that my record shelves also sport a lot of funk, soul, jazz, hip hop, rock, etc.
Always looking for the perfect groove!

Favorite movie might just be Harold and Maude. Others would be Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, Big Lebowski, Star Wars, Attack the Block, BBC Life, Zombi 2, etc.
Basically I've caught myself enjoying a lot of stuff ranging from Jean-Luc Godard and Tarkovsky movies to Transformers 3.

Favorite book is probably Wikipedia, I read that a lot. But mostly scientifical books. Also Sci-fi, Fantasy, Graphic novels, etc. . Favorites include: Gödel Escher Bach, Prometheus Rising, Neuromancer, V for Vendetta, Discworld, etc.
