About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Come mid-September I'll be able to host couchsurfers at my new home in Sheffield. until then, I'm more than happy to show people around the lovely city of Norwich.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No experiences yet! Learnt about CS last summer while interrailing around Europe and felt felt like a total dolt for not having found out about it sooner!
Interests
Naturally I have a 'professional' interest in philosophy, but I like to think that I'm a bit of a polymath. Particular passions include experimental music, coffee and real ale. I play electronics both solo and in a few groups. My interest in coffee and ale remains amateur, but I'm considering setting up a coffee society at the university and eventually would like to own a cafe or roastery.
In terms of sport, I ski, cycle and play squash whenever I can. I used to enjoy kayaking and rock climbing when I was younger and would like to get back into it, but I lack the upper body strength these days.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Black Dynamite and nothing else.
Music: www.last.fm/user/hobsnob
Books: As Ian McEwan would put it I "retain a childlike desire to be told a story, to be held in suspense, to know what happens". I can deal with introspection, but not to excess.
