ABOUT ME

Nous sommes jeunes d'ésprit, que l'emballage est vieux - means: we are young in mind, only the packing is old. My wife was born in Holland, I was born in Amstetten and living in Waidhofen/Ybbs and Vienna, Austria. Then many years living in Sweden. We are patchwork grandparents living since many years in the French part of Switzerland, in a small town Morges at the lake of Geneva, near Lausanne. Before that I traveled a lot for my job in all Scandinavia, in Eastern Europe, South Africa and lived 2 years in Los Angeles. Now returning to Vienna and enjoying the cultural offers there.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life as much as we can and put a good face to any situation. Put more life into your years not more years into your life. Lower your needs and you'll need less to enjoy life. Age is a matter of mind and if you don't mind it doesn't matter. Treat other people like you want to be treated - we cannot direct the wind but we can adjust the sails.

When i lived at the artic circle in Sweden, in the summer I made a boat trip to the islands, in winter by car as the Baltic Sea was frozen. - We have been invited 2x in Indian marriages. - Sharing life with a family in Havanna. - Hitchhiking with hell drivers in Moldavia.
