ABOUT ME

I love to laugh, learn, smile, listen, explore, observe, dance, eat, drink, and meet new people and experiences.

I have a serious case of wanderlust, and am trying to reconcile this with my bank account, but he can be a real a**hole sometimes. ;D

PHILOSOPHY

I used to think having a plan was the best way to live. You planned your plan, worked long and hard on it, sought that goal, and happiness would be at the end of the yellow brick road, sans pain.

Now, I realize every day is open to the possibility of every emotion and unplanned event you could or could not imagine. And that is OKAY. It is better than okay ... it allows us to move and feel and sometimes even provides a path that is better than that we originally sought.

I seek rich relationships, however brief they may be. Empty and shallow relationships create the most loneliness I have ever felt. And that is why it is my philosophy to Love and Be Loved, to Take the Good and Leave the Rest. Just please flush the toilet when you're done because nothing bugs me more than people who can't flush the damn toilet. ;)

I've surfed quite a few couches (and floors) as well as met up with some amazeballs fellow CSers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in New York, Portland, and San Francisco ... loved it. What a great way to meet interesting people and learn a city from an insider's perspective.

Have met up with fellow Surfers here in my new state and so glad I did. Great community, great people.
