ABOUT ME

Currently I'm a geography teacher in high school. In the first year of my studies we were told that geographers are never tourists when they travel. They are travellers. So wherever i am, i'm fascinated by the differences in the world in any way. The people, the way places look, the way places are used or experienced, the history of places and the way people behave in those places. Even within the western world there are interesting differences!
I'm a very outgoing person. I like to meet people with whom i can share my thoughts and Couchsurfing is an excellent way to do that!

PHILOSOPHY

Be friendly to everybody, everything is gonna be allright and always try to look at the bright side of life!

Happy to host people and if possible show them the Netherlands or at least my city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for the first time in the USA with a friend, who had a profile on CS. I thought it was a great experience and a great initiative, so i signed up. Since then I started hosting, which is almost as good as travelling myself!

I'm probably interested in many things. People's stories, movies, music, the world, you name it.

I spend a week on Vancouver Island during a studytrip, that is one of the most amazing places i've seen up until now.
