ABOUT ME

I love meeting people from different corners of the world, hearing about their culture, traditions, beliefs, food, etc. I have travelled a bit over the years but would love to see a lot more of the world as well as my own country. I promised myself that I will spend the next few years exploring more of Australia instead of hanging onto the 'it's my backyard, I can see it anytime' belief. I have spent most of my life in Australia but have seen so little of it.
I am currently taking a career break to travel (going to Europe this time) and take it easy for awhile. Can't have all work and no play right?

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to do some couch surfing while I'm in Europe and hang out with locals. My spare room is open to couch surfers from anywhere in the world whenever I don't have a tenant in it. Otherwise, I can meet up with travellers for coffee/drink and offer a few pointer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to this. Hoping to meet lots of fellow couch surfers while I'm travelling.

I love to travel and experience what other cultures have to offer. I also love animals. I have had pets all my life and recently adopted two cats from an animal shelter. Other interests include the outdoors, hiking, cycling, warm weather, great food, adventure, fun, nature, great stories, trying new things, seeing new places.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Swam at the juntion of two rivers in New Zealand. One had cold water flowing down it, the other had hot, hot hot water so you could feel cold water passing you on one side of your body and hot water on the other. Walked on an active volcano also in New Zealand. NZ is full of amazing natural sights, places and phenomena. I didn't know so much beauty could exist in one small country.
