Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Meet people, observe, learn, see the world, and try to understand it one bit at a time.
ABOUT ME
I'm a social person, easy-going and open-minded, but determined to reach my goals, while having a good time along the way. I believe that you can achieve a lot, you just gotta try.
I'm interested in art (mainly architecture, lately painting as well because of my gf - an artist), history, international relations (heck, I chose them for my bachelor's) and music, among other things. I like to go and have a dance-off with my friends every once in a while, dine in and out while trying all sorts of crazy food and sometimes even cooking for my friends (crazy food - great idea, but now and then it does cause sudden attacks of explosive sh!z... as per my cooking, I can sometimes be dangerous in the kitchen - I have a history of burning food, which I'm trying to improve on, but trust me, once I get the food done you're gonna love it!). I'm hooked on traveling and meeting new people. I used to train karate and judo way back (biggest achievement: managed to break my arm on the very first judo training XD), now I'm trying to get back to sports after a long internship with a corporation in Shanghai (50h work week wasn't that bad and the experience was great - even managed to travel around Asia a bit on the payroll (!), wasn't soul-crushing, as many people believe working for corp's is).
Oh, and I'm on the way to Paris to finally finish my Master's after an extended gap year.
PHILOSOPHY
Hard to put it in just a few words, but let's try.
Support your friends, family, treat others how you wish to be treated. Try to surround yourself with amazing people and do things which you want to do, while not hurting or using others. Stay true to yourself.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Along with my ex-gf we used to hang out and show people around Shanghai now and then when I was still living in the city (almost 3 years!). Unfortunately, as I was firstly living in the dorms in a two-person room, and then living in a company apt, so hosting people wasn't an option.
Hopefully this will change now, since I'm moving to Paris for a while.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Amazing, so far. Met a lot of wonderful people and made quite a few friends. I'm hoping to start being more active in the community.
Intereses
Over the years I was fortunate to meet a lot of great people everywhere I lived or stayed, from my childhood friends in Poland, to the guys in London, or the awesome multi-national legion of friends from Shanghai. I guess hanging out with my friends and people close to me is how I love to spend my time, whether it's dining out in a fancy restaurant, eating street food, having a blast in a club, or at a house party, or just having endless conversations about everything and nothing till late into the morning on the rooftop. I'm a people's person. As per other interests, here are some (you can discover the rest once we meet in person!):
Art (mostly architecture, and the fine craft of paining to a lesser degree, more on it in a sec),
Music (rock's my favourite kind of music, but I'm no music nazi sort of guy, I do enjoy a fine classic tune ever so often and even some top40 songs don't seem that bad to me),
History (I have always loved it, you cannot go forward unless you know where you came from, it's ignorant and stupid; I also have a thing for mythology, and am an avid fantasy fan),
Travelling (I have been traveling with my parents abroad every year, mainly to Greece and Italy - that's one of the reasons of my fascination with architecture and ancient history, and culture, plus my pa's an architect, and sis' studying to be one),
International Relations (History mixed up with politics makes an explosive solution, yet knowing how to handle it is vital for our present, and future),
There's a few more, but it feel like I've writen way too much already, don't want you to fall asleep in front of the screen...

Algo increíble que he hecho
Acted as a bad guy (no spoken lines, though...) in a movie with Bruce Willis and Gordon-Levitt (will be out soon!). Played a French doctor in a Chinese soap opera (along with 2 hot nurses).
Taught English to a legion of kids for charity, learned dozens of kids songs and games as an adult, and actually enjoyed the living hell out of it singing them and playing around.
Had my face stitched after saving a stranger from being mugged, on my birthday - still ate McDonald's while waiting in the hospital for the doctor to patch me up.
