ABOUT ME

I'm a simple guy. Simple clothes, simple house and simple couch are only what I need to be happy. I somehow prefer freedom to comfort most of the time. I Love action and adventure, so a stupid plan from times to times is generally beneficial for my spirit sanity.

I somehow see myself as a contradictory person: I am patient but determined, free-minded but reliable, serious but smiling, good musician but poor dancer, pragmatic but sensible... Maybe you can help me sorting all that out! That said, the two halves of myself get along pretty well with each other!

Finally, I think life and happiness is all about loving, interacting and sharing with people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I host a member of CS to my home, he's not just a temporary flat mate, he's a guest and a friend!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Slowly growing as a veteran of CS, both as hostand guest. But I always look forward the next CS experience!

兴趣

-Cycling (city commuting year-round) and cyclo-touring trips. I claim to be one of the pioneers of the famous concept of Beer & Bike trip concept!
-Sports in general (ice hockey, soccer, alpine skiing...)
-Music: I play trombone and a bit of guitar, I sing in a choir, and I studied music; that's a passion! When talking about music, you should be prepared for lively and endless discussions!
-I love cooking (and eating good food!!!)
-I love Nature, and especially treking/walking/tramping for a few days in remote areas.
-I love beer tasting (and drinking of course!)
-Bicycle repair

It seems strange for a university graduated guy, but I don't like to read...
I like going to the movies but I have strictly no knowledge at all in that matter. I just see it as a good entertainement a couple of times a year.
I could speak for hours about music however! It's too hard to spot my favourite style of music because it depends too much about how I feel. I have an interest in, but not limited to, what we generally call classical music, a major interest for jazz, choir pop and Broadway music, and many, many other things.
